My English interpretation

Dude, I know, man. I truly do, but you’ve got to take a good look at yourself in the mirror. How long has it been? No need to answer that. It’s been seven years, dude. Seven fucking years, and somehow I still have to listen to your stories. Believe me, I’ve heard them all, and I get it, dude. That’s what makes all of this that much harder. You’ve got to get over it. You can’t keep asking yourself the same question. “What if” is the most insane question I’ve ever heard. There is literally no answer to it, so stop trying to figure it out.

I know, I know, I truly do. That was seven years, and seven years at our age feel like dog years, which makes it even harder. But you can’t think about it like that, and you’ve gotta give yourself a little credit too.

Give yourself a little credit. But don’t get carried away with it either. Like you keep on telling me, “You were the problem.” No, it wasn’t always only you. Believe me, she was and will always be just as crazy as you, and she understands that too, but you’ll never hear it from her lips. Please don’t ask why. We both know why. It’s been seven years.

Dude, I know, I really do, and that’s why it hurts me so bad when I have to tell you to shut the fuck up about her. I wish I didn’t, but my ears can only bleed for so long. No, no. No. Don’t ever believe for one minute that I’m not on your team. I know what you thought you had in her. I know that you never imagined such a love was possible, but that’s the way love is. At least for you… and I know… I know how bad it sucks, but that’s life, man. That’s seven years. She is the past, and that’s where you need to leave her. She’s history, but you still have a whole story to live out.

I do give you credit, though. Maybe I won’t always express that in words, but I truly do feel it in my heart. Was how everything went down fair? I don’t think so. I used to just tell you that to make you feel better, but I’ve changed my stance on everything. I’ll never tell you this, but she wasn’t the princess that you thought she was.

She stole your heart, but didn’t you steal hers first? And how much has happened since? I can only imagine. I know only what you’ve told me, but I don’t know what is happening in that crazy mind of yours, and I especially don’t know what’s spinning around in hers. Psycho. Either way, it doesn’t change a thing. I’ve said it a million times, just like we all have, but they won’t get as real as I do. Seven years. Dude. It’s been seven years. I speak for all of us. And we say, “Stop it.” It’s time, man, it’s time to move on. Forget that she stole your heart. She’s never giving it back to you.

And I’m sorry. I truly am. I’m sorry that it still kills you.
